You don’t need the turkey wishbone to get beautiful skin.

If you’re like most people Thanksgiving is a time of overindulgence. That yummy pumpkin pie will ultimately show up on the waistline and thighs. So why not start there? Have you ever thought of putting it on your skin? Start with your face and have a thanksgiving facial. Pumpkin is full of antioxidants and enzymes that really are good for your skin, and the same is true of cranberries. Begin with a gentle exfoliation. Get ¼ cup of canned cranberries (not cranberry jelly) and mash that with some brown sugar. Softly apply the facial scrub in a circular motion around your face. Always avoid the eyes. Leave it on the skin for 5-7 minutes and then rinse with warm water. You can make a facial mask with ¼ cup of canned pumpkin. Add 2 teaspoons of orange juice (fruit acid) or some cinnamon & paprika spices for a more intense mask. If your skin is a little bit sensitive just add a tablespoon of honey to the pumpkin and mix. Apply the pumpkin mask to face and take a warm bath. The steam and warmth of the water will help the pumpkin enzymes to become more active. Using milk or powdered milk in the bath makes your skin so soft. Soak cotton or paper towels in cold soy milk and use it to remove the pumpkin mask. Your skin should look and feel refreshed with this easy all natural facial!
